I started this site out of anger.
I was angry at webhosts that kept on going down.
I was angry at webhosts with bad customer service.
And, I was angry at webhosts that didn't keep their promises.
For example, right before I started this site, one of my websites went down for over 2 weeks and the hosting company would not return my emails, ignored my support tickets and didn't give a damn about what happened to my site. This costs me thousands of dollars in lost sales. They didn't have a phone number to call (Which is one of the big mistakes I made when choosing this host. Never, and I mean never, choose a webhost that doesn't have a phone number to call.) And even if they did have a phone number to call, I'm sure I would've talked to someone who didn't have a clue how to get my site back up and wouldn't even care.
To put it simply, it was a disaster. I heard from friends who went through similar experiences and I thought, "Enough is enough".
I have to do something about this.
Initially, I wanted this site to be a 'dumping ground' on all of the bad experiences I've had with different webhosts. But, after thinking about it, I decided that wouldn't really help out many people.
So, I decided to make this a review site. Me and my team, would go through over one hundred of the top web hosting companies online. Then, we would narrow the companies down to the top ten.
It took an enormous amount of energy and was extremely stressful at times, but the result was well worth it. You now have a virtual step-by-step map to what I think are the best webhosting companies on the web.
